DISASTER PREPAREDNESS, RESPONDING IN TIMES OF CRISES AND BUILD BACK BETTER
ADRA always works with its stakeholders to build resilience communities. When a crisis strikes, urgent resources are in place, and often pre-arranged, to reach areas of need as quickly as possible through ADRA’s global network and partners. Funds, materials, and personnel are coordinated through the country office of ADRA closest to the disaster so that plans can be implemented immediately and appropriate relief supplies reach the areas most affected by the disaster. In post-disaster, ADRA is also committed to getting back together with the community in restoring their livelihoods, building their facilities and infrastructure, to build back better.
