The past year has been a profound journey, replete with twists and turns that have left an indelible mark on each of us. Throughout 2023, we encountered unforeseen challenges and situations that surpassed our expectations and control. Our lives were riddled with sorrow, disappointment, and anger—inescapable human emotions when confronted with circumstances beyond our influence.
However, as humans, it is imperative to recognize that every event in our lives, whether pleasant or arduous, occurs by God’s permission. Every detail, even those overlooked by our attention, is orchestrated by the Almighty. Feelings of surrender and anxiety often haunt us, but we must ask ourselves, “What does God want and will for our lives?”
In the midst of all uncertainty, we often focus on our own plans and envisioned expectations. But have we genuinely reflected on what God desires for us? Have we taken a moment to contemplate the meaning behind everything that has transpired in our lives?
Approaching the year 2024, let us collectively ponder God’s will. Let our lives align with what God desires so that His plans and peaceful prosperity may descend upon us. This is a call to live in obedience to God and steer our steps in accordance with His wisdom.
