ADRA Indonesia, the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is seeking a Program Officer to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs that empower people and promote positive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of development and humanitarian programs.
  • Provide oversight with the establishment and maintenance of monitoring and evaluation (M&E), accountability, and information management systems, as well as research and learning processes and products to inform adaptive management, identify trends, and promote thought leadership. 
  • Work with the projects to foster and champion a culture of evidence-gathering and learning across the project.
  • Assist project managers to ensure reports and evaluations are of high quality and ensure adherence to ADRA Standards and donor guidelines and submitted timely.
  • Lead reporting, review, and evaluation as well as annual ADRAs and quarterly and annual reporting for donors and stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the project managers in relation to partnership management, including overseeing conflict resolution.
  • Together with the project managers, ensure that projects comply with all ADRA Indonesia’s principles, policies, and protocols. 
  • Collaborate with government agencies, local communities, partner organizations, and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Together with the Programme Team, establish and maintain liaison and represent ADRA Indonesia.
  • Work together with the other Departments to ensure that projects are being managed according to ADRA Indonesia’s business process. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Social Sciences, or other a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program management or a related field (NGO experience a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in reporting for donors and stakeholders.
  • Have a good understanding of M&E and knowledge management to facilitate organizational learning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strategic relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from NGOs, donors, government, and communities.
  • Sensitive and open to both humanitarian and long-term development approaches.
  • Good understanding of gender transformative approach, gender and inclusion, cultural sensitivity, and respect for religious diversity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability, with a willingness to learn new skills and approaches.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
