The aim is to increase awareness and preparedness of the community in facing potential disasters and to minimize the risks and losses that may occur.
National Disaster Preparedness Day is on April 26th, 2024, although efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness can take place throughout the year with special events or campaigns at various times. In Indonesia, the commemoration of Disaster Preparedness Day has been carried out since 2017. This year it adopts a theme “Ready to Survive” with the sub-theme “Resilient Indonesia, Great Indonesia”.
